Now known as BronxWorks, the nearly forty-year-old nonprofit organization underwent a renaming process in order to better reflect its scope of services and its diverse client base. CAB first opened its doors in the Bronx in 1972 and has since grown into an organization with more than twenty-five locations in the borough that serve more than 40,000 people a year. Speaking of the newly-named BronxWorks, Serrano said, “This is one of the greatest organizations I think we have in the country.”
